Assisted Living Community
The purchase of Sunrise school gives us a unique opportunity to provide more than just a place to live, but a more fulfilling life. We will take part in daily activities. The arts and crafts room where we will encourage our residents to find their inner Picaso. A fully equipped music room where they can learn to play an instrument or just listen to today's hits. A game room where they can fight dragons or race cars on the PS5 systems, and the gymnasium where our residents can take part in team sports as a healthier lifestyle - all of this under one roof.
PROGRESS/GOALS
Day Services
It's our goal to be fully staffed and have our facility up and running for day services by the end of 2023-mid 2024. To connect with other area programs and offer our facility for their use with day services. To be affiliated with the Special Olympics and the ADRC and to be able to connect families with the services that are available to them. To have a support network in place to help families cope with the struggles of having a child with special needs.
Gymnasium
To have fun and rewarding exercise programs for our residents. It is our goal to be heavily involved with the Special Olympics, hosting events such as basketball and floor hockey.
